In a stunning photograph, the Russian Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft is seen landing with the crew of Expedition 42—commander Barry Wilmore of the United States, Alexander Samokutyaev and Elena Serova of the Russian Federation. The Soyuz capsule descended through clear skies and into the clouds over the town of Dzhezkazgan, in Kazakhstan on Thursday, March 12. The American astronaut and the Russian cosmonauts had spent just short of six months in space aboard the International Space Station as members of two overlapping missions (Expedition 41 and 42).
