In Chattanooga, Tennessee, just outside the Navy Operations Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Office, residents and military personnel have added to a makeshift memorial honoring the five military officers killed by a terrorist’s shooting rampage on July 16. Local citizens and their children have placed more than one hundred flags and other patriotic material in a grassy area near the Navy Operations Support Center.
