Though The Fault in Our Stars is considered a young adult novel, I encourage young and old alike to delve into and discover why John Greene is a beloved and deeply admired writer. Hazel Grace is a terminally ill sixteen-year-old girl with an old and analytical soul who bonds with Augustus, a charming and spirited seventeen-year-old boy who has overcome his illness. Hazel's intellectual curiosities and observations open Augustus's mind while Augustus passion and positivity enliven Hazel's will and love for life. This is easily the best book I've read this year. Read it yourself and then pass it on to the special people in your life. You won't be disappointed.
