At the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, Santa Claus makes an appearance for children suffering from cancer and other pediatric conditions. Santa and hospital staffers brought toys, cookies and Christmas cards to lift the kids’ spirits for the holidays. Some of the children will be spending Christmas Day in the hospital, depending on their care regimen.
